New Tiny Tales Memory Kit!

This is the sample - I can't wait for the whole batch to arrive. 

Sir Trey

Today we went to the famous Colorado Renaissance Festival.  It's in Larkspur which is only about 30 minutes south of us.  It was pretty cool, but the kids weren't too into it and it was hot, so we only stayed a few hours.  It would be fun to go back with just Trey and watch more of the shows.

Jonah is so obsessed with Diego that he'll turn his undies around so Diego is on the front so he can see him better (these are on the right way and I bet he'll change them soon)

Mommy home day

On the weekends I excitedly greet the kids with "it's mommy home day!". Sometimes during the week they ask me "how many days until a mommy home day?". And if I'm still home during the week when they wake up, they'll ask "is it a mommy home day?".

This morning in the hotel, I said to Jonah "it's a mommy home day!". Jonah said "no! It's a mommy hotel day!"

I am the luckiest mom in the world!

Hotel

Last night at the hotel, Trey came running over and said "mommy! They gave us our very own soap!!"

On the road again!

We leave tonight for Rapid City, SD.  I've been wanting to go there since I learned it was {only} 7 hours away.  Our hotel is attached to an indoor water park!!  I can't wait.

Batman

Trey:  I don't like Batman anymore.

Me:  Oh you don't?  I thought you loved Batman!

Trey:  Well, I still love him and I want to cuddle with him, but I don't want to BE Batman anymore.

Trey:  Mommy, why is your belly hanging out right there?  {pointing to my tankini bathing suit}.  Is it because your clothes don't fit right?

Overheard by Joe at the pool

2 girls around 8 years old were talking at the pool:

girl #1:  Do you know how babies are made?

girl #2:  I think it has something to do with a seed.

I guess we're doing something right!

Charmer is an understatement

When Jonah knows he has been caught doing something wrong, he likes to make this face. It is criminal to try to get mad at him.

Joe: what happened?

Trey: I stepped on something sharp!

Joe: what was it?

Trey: I think it was a sea urchin.

Trey: if you let me stay up really late I'll be really good. I mean, as good as I can be.
