Couple of funny kids, crazy dogs, and parents who don't feel old enough to be parents.

Bath time
Eli is getting more used to bath time. He tolerates it with a light
whimper. But still screams bloody murder when I get him out! I'm
bathing him in the bathroom sink for now on a big sponge so he doesn't
slide around. I can't wait until he is big enough for the spa tub,
aka expensive 5 gallon bucket bath. I remember how much Jonah loved
it!

At the local town safety fair
I love checking out all these types of events. Small town little
fairs...free snow cones and hot dogs, bouncy castle, tour of fire
trucks and police cars. A fun way to spend an hour.

Who does Eli look like?
I dug up some pics of the boys around the same age. I think they all look similar! Jonah has a cleft in his chin that Trey and Eli don't, but otherwise they all look like Lara/Joe creations.

My helpers
I've started 2 new programs to get the kids to help out around the house:
Every morning they have to straighten up downstairs before they can go
outside to play. They the itching to get outside pretty much as soon
as they wake up, so they are willing to do what it takes to get
permission to go outside. They have to make their beds, put away any
clothes and books in the right spot, make sure the bathroom and
playroom are neat. We call it morning inspection and it's been
working so far!
Last night I started "find 3 things." Each person has to find 3
things that are out of place and put them away where they belong. I'm
hoping this will help with clutter.
