When we got to camp we pitched our tent on a great spot in the trees with only a minor slope. Dinner was yummy fried rice, we had a group meeting and learning more about the group and our guides. After a bit of exploring and a few beers, we turned in around 9. Wake up call at 5:30am sharp!!
Today we had a shuttle ride and hopped on the trail near Molas Lake. After waiting out a hailstorm in the van, we decided it was "good enough" to start out when it slowed to a drizzle. 2.5 mile BEAUTIFUL hike to camp, alternating between a drizzle and a pour.
Little man got a little crazy driving jeep and drove off the side of the driveway into the rocks. He was driving neighbor Savannah and when he hit the rocks, she fell on top of him. She escaped without a scratch. He didn't cry for long!
