Back to one of our favorite camping spots

Last weekend we went back to Buffalo Creek Recreation Area.  It's on the Colorado Trail, free, very spread out, and the dogs can roam off leash.  We did a 2.5 mile hike on Saturday and 3 miles on Sunday.  The boys are good hikers!  Especially when they get a marshmallow every .5 mile as long as they haven't complained.  Bribery works with these kids.

Last pool day of the summer

I can't believe the summer is over!  Today is the last day our pool is open, so I got some action shots of the boys.  We were only there for less than hour, then Trey stepped on a bee which stung the bottom of his foot.  At least we know now that he isn't allergic to bee stings!
