Jonah's Birthday Party

We had Jonah's 4th birthday party yesterday at H2O'Brien pool. It's like our own mini-water park in town! After many days of 90 - 100 degree temps, this weekend was cool and cloudy. For a while we were the only people in the pool!

We had SUCH a great day! Even with it being in the middle of the week.

Joe fired up the Big Green Egg around 7am. Yummmmm shredded beef tacos.

Mari and I took the kids for a hike at Castlewood Canyon, our favorite local hiking spot.

The kids posed for a picture, only because I promised they could do a crazy picture next.

After naps, the party started! First some pool time - the ladies chillin' and Clint in the pool with all the kids.

Joe was back at the house cooking and the other men were ~~helping~~ drinking.

Then we decorated bikes and scooters for the neighborhood parade. We had a decent turnout with it being the first year. A guy up the street brought a HUGE old tractor which was really fun for the kids to see. We even had a few spectators.

Such a fun 4th!

Nighttime clothing "rules"

Jonah has been wearing only PJ bottoms to bed and not a top.

Jonah: what day is today?

Me: Thursday, why?

Jonah: I need a pajama top. I only go without a top on Tuesdays.
