We just added on
The chicken coop arrived. It's made out of reclaimed wood and really cool. A few more weeks and the chicks will take up residence.

Only a few days until NYC!
Trey and I are beyond excited for our NYC trip. We have a full list of sights to see. I created an agenda to make sure we aren't sitting around trying to figure out what to do, but I'm also totally fine if we stray from the plan.
I'll have a snapfish album on the blog and will add new pictures to it every day (at least that's my intent!). It probably won't indicate new photos, so just keep checking it.

Loveys
Every night when I put Eli to bed I lay all three of his loveys out on his crib railing. And I say you have Taggie, Moo, and Stripes. I ask him to pick one and he gives me as huge smile and thinks for about 20 seconds. Then he points to one and that's the one we snuggle with while I'm reading him a book. It's so cute!

well in that case....
Jonah has to do an animal research project. This morning I suggested he should research chickens since we have 12 now. He said "But I already told my teacher I was going to do tigers and she wrote it down." I said "I can email Mrs. Graham and see if it's ok to change it at this point to chickens." Jonah said "But Mommy! She wrote it in PEN!"

Jonah lovesssssss Frozen
He watched it over and over and over at the beach, and learned all the words to the song Let it Go. He is obsessed! At one point Trey came out of the bedroom and said "Will you tell Jonah to be quiet? He's bothering us!" I said "oh - is he watching Frozen without his headphones?" Trey said "No he has his headphones on, but he's singing so loudly!"

A sign?
Eli has been doing the sign for milk. I think he's just flexing his hand muscles, but today he did it a bunch. It had only been 2 hours since his last bottle, but I gave him one anyway and he sucked it down. I wonder if he really was signing for milk?
