Enjoying the Colorado sunshine

We're on fall break now, but I found this photo I forgot to post. I got to walk Trey down to school one morning. They have their own door to get right into their kindergarten room, which is nice so they don't go in the front door with all the bigger kids. In the mornings they line up outside the door and wait for the bell. the morning I took this picture, all the kids decided to lay down on the concrete, use their backpacks as pillows, and take a "nap." Super cute!

Tiny Tales Team

The Tiny Tales team is in place now, and I can feel this is going to be a great next few months leading into Christmas! I have a Customer Service Representative, an Inventory Analyst, a VP of Order Fulfillment (Joe), and a Creative Director. So what if each person only works anywhere from 3 to 10 hours a week.... it's my team, and they are awesome and passionate about Tiny Tales succeeding. Gooooooo TEAM!

Jonah has been learning about solid, liquid, or gas at school. He even has a cute little song about it. So today we were playing is this a solid, liquid or gas? Is Jonah's cookie a solid, liquid, or gas? Is Jonah's water a solid, liquid, or gas? Is Jonah's knee a solid, liquid, or gas?

I asked "is Jonah's toot toot a solid, liquid, or gas?". Jonah replied "usually it's a liquid!"

TIny Tales Deal!

I am doing a groupon-like deal this weekend through zulily.com.  Last time I did a deal with them a year ago, I had 400 sales to their 700,000 subscribers.   They now have over 5 million subscribers.   Yikes!  The deal has been up about 45 minutes, and sales are very strong right out of the gate!

Digger Dash

One of the big fundraising events at Trey's school is the Digger Dash.  The kids run laps and get sponsors to donate money per lap or as a lump amount.  It's so much better than selling cookie dough or wrapping paper door to door.  This morning Trey ran 15 laps.

Weekend Camping

We had a fun weekend camping in Deckers, CO.  The campground is right on the river so Joe got to do some fishing.  I LOVE our camper!  As you can tell by the attire...it was cold at night and hot during the day.
