So good to be getting some fresh air with a happy baby!

Baby is on the mend!

He had hand, foot and mouth so badly that pretty much his whole body blistered. Now his skin is peeling off in big patches and he is feeling much better.

He speaks to dolphins

I took this video a few weeks ago and have been playing it for Eli to remind him that he will feel better some day soon.  Doesn't he sound like he's making dolphin noises?  One of my favorite videos of all time!

Passing the time

We didn't do much yesterday with Eli being so sick, but I made it to walmart (twice) and picked up this cheap set of paints. It kept the boys busy for hours painting rocks.

Because of Eli's eczema, we have to layer on aquaphor every night. He's so shiny!

Eli - 5 months

big drooler but no sign of teeth yet

loves his bumbo

1st solid foods!  carrots from Joe's garden and avocado

sticks his tongue out all the time

doing pretty well at night - usually getting up once between 4 and 5 and goes right back to sleep

4 oz bottles every 3 hours during the day

short naps - 30-45 minutes, then up for 1.5 - 2 hours
