Happy Halloween!

Happy 5 month birthday Eli!!

Eli celebrated his 5 month birthday with his first solid foods! Puréed carrots from Joe's garden. Eli loved it!

Tonight the boys and I were practicing spelling.  Trey asked Jonah how to spell rode, and Jonah spelled it correctly.  I said "That's right for when you say that you rode your bike.  But how do you spell it when you mean a paved road?"  Trey said "that is road."  Jonah said "and I can use it in a sentence!  It's like 'I road my car down the street!'"

For the past 4 nights Eli has been getting up around midnight and every 2 hours after. Yuck! What happened to my good sleeper??
