1st day of school!

Monday was the first day of school for these big guys. Don't they look dapper in their uniforms? And Jonah in his new transitions lens glasses? Same pickup and drop off schedule for these 2 this year which saves a ton of time!

Cousin Kiki’s birthday party

Eli had such a good time at Cousin Kiki's 6th birthday party! Gymnastics, pizza, cupcake, goodie bag, and a quick snooze on the way home - a perfect afternoon!

42!!!

Yesterday was a great day! After dropping off Trey at school, I had a nice leisurely breakfast reading a book at my favorite spot - The Egg and I. I worked from the library. Then we went to meet the teacher night at American Academy (Eli and Jonah start Monday). We finished up the night at a brewery by Trey's soccer practice where we sat outside drinking beer and having food truck cheesesteaks with soccer parents and our friends the Ludovics (back in town for vacation). Perfect day!

Camp Timberline pickup was so cool!  The counselors has amazingly nice things to say about the boys and I could tell they had a fanatic week.

Live horse races

We went to the horse races a few weeks ago in Aurora for the first time and loved it! I can't believe we've never gone! It is every weekend during the summer. We did 5 $2 bets and came home with $8.

Eli is 39 lbs (35%) and 42.5" (35%).  He passed his vision and hearing screening.

Drop off at Air Force Academy soccer camp

We dropped Trey off at the Air Force Academy soccer camp for the week. He'll stay in the dorms and play lots of soccer. From 6-9pm they get to run around in the field house playing on the ice rink, basketball court, watch a movie, and eat junk food. He's going to love it!! He promises to send pictures of his dorm room.
