Adams Mystery Playhouse

The Adams Mystery Playhouse has been on my "outings with the kids" list for years, and we finally made it to a show last week! I only took Jonah and Eli, which was a good thing because I think Trey would have been a little too old for it. It is an interactive play where the audience solves a mystery, kind of like a kid version of a murder mystery dinner. It was really cute and the boys loved it! Jonah volunteered to play a small role in the play. At one point the actors announced that the person who stole the wand would have blue marks on his/her hand, and coincidentally Eli had blue marker on his hand from the day before. He got so scared and started crying! Of course Jonah and I thought it was hilarious.

Mountain family

We were out of the house by 6:40 this morning with 2 adults, 3 kids, 2 dogs, and a bunch of stuff! We are headed to Winter Park for 2 days, driving back home on Thanksgiving morning. Jonah has a private ski lesson this morning for a half day. We are hoping it clicks for him with some personalized attention. Eli has ski school tomorrow. And I'm snowshoeing and hanging with the dogs!

Day 1 in the new Greenhouse Denver office

Welcome to my new office! And new team member David. Day 1 was good, although it is weird to sit in a little office next to someone all day. At Staples I had either a cube with high walls (first 2 years) or office (last 10 years). I'm sure I will get used to it though. Starting next week there will be 3 of us, then I have a guy from our NY office coming for 3 months starting Nov 11. So there will be 4 people in this office soon enough.

This is so me!

This is so me!  I actually just ordered some new color ballpoint gel pens not 5 minutes ago and crossed it off my to do list in my planner.

The trees looked so pretty at Trey's soccer game yesterday. In real life they were more gold than in this picture. Eli and I walked over to the edge of the field so he could pee in the trees because it was way closer than the porta-potties. I love having boys!
