I have developed this theory that it will be quicker and easier to clean the house if there wasn't so much crap on every surface. If everything had a space in a closet or drawer. When i go to clean, I always get sidetracked moving stuff from room to room or trying to organize papers, stuff, crap, etc. So I wrote down every room in the house, and Joe and I have been trying to tackle one every night. The rule is that if something wouldn't be there if we were selling the house, then it doesn't belong there now. I think of the way our house looked in Framingham when it was on the market as the gold standard. So far this has been working well for us.
