Jonah's 1st Birthday Party

Threatening storm clouds rolled in just an hour before the party was to begin, but mother nature was kind to us and we only had a few sprinkles. The kids played outside with big bouncy balls, threw rocks (one of Trey's favorite outdoor activities), and decorated cookies. Joe grilled beef for homemade roast beef sandwiches, with sides of pasta salad, beans, and grilled peppers. Jonah (barely) made it to cake time, and for a child who eats everything, wasn't happy with the cake experience. It was a great party! Joe, Trey, me, Uncle Scott, Wade and Lauren, Chris, and our surprise guests from NY (Ryan and Marissa) who happened to be in town stayed outside and enjoyed the new fire pit.
